The request lands in your email with the customer’s reply-to address and in your dashboard. Unlike the big lead marketplaces, a LocalBrooklyn lead is local by construction and never sold to eight competitors. Free during launch; $25 per lead afterwards, always included with Featured.
Direct advertising
We sell a small number of placements directly, to Brooklyn businesses and organisations only, so the site never fills with programmatic ads. Flat monthly rates, one creative, reporting on request.

Questions
Do I need to pay to be listed?
No. Listing, claiming, editing and the verified badge are free and always will be. Paid options put you in front of more people; they never gate the basics.
What does Featured actually change?
Your listing sorts first on the directory, your category page, your neighborhood page and the neighborhood × category page, above every free listing. It carries a Featured badge, your page shows no competitor listings or ads, and quote requests are included.
How is Neighborhood Sponsor different?
It is one slot per neighborhood and category. Your business appears in a highlighted card above the whole list on that neighborhood × category page and in the neighborhood sidebar. Nobody else in your category can buy it while you hold it.
What do leads cost?
Nothing during launch. Afterwards, $25 per lead for free listings and always included with Featured. Leads are sent only to businesses in the neighborhood and category the visitor asked about, so they are local by construction.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Manage billing in your dashboard. Monthly plans stop at the end of the period; annual plans run to the end of the year you paid for.
